WHY USE SOLA PROSTHETICS

COMPASSIONATE PATIENT CARE PLAN

We take great pride in our continuation of care because this will help the patient achieve the quality of life that they so deserve. We work with the entire healthcare team to develop a specific plan catered to each patient’s individual needs. This starts with constant communication with the patient and their team. It continues after delivery with routine follow ups, and will be ongoing as their needs progress.

CLINICAL

Our professional clinical staff are compassionate and listen to what the patient’s needs are to carefully create a care plan to achieve the patient’s goals. The best prosthetic components are only as good as the socket that connects them to the residual limb. Our clinicians have been trained to provide the best socket fit that is customized to the patient’s unique anatomy.

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

A Patient Care Coordinator serves multiple purposes for the benefit of the patient. They will act like a personalized liaison, working closely with each of our patients. Some services include: Education of all services; Face to Face meetings with patients (consultations); and Collecting all required paperwork. They will also provide any/all direction for the patient as it pertains to prosthetic needs. Pre-amputation, immediate post op (certified to visit hospitals), or an amputee veteran, their purpose is to be with the patient at every part of the process.

PATIENT CARE ADVOCATES

We offer a Certified Peer Visitor to meet with patients to offer encouragement and information about living life with an amputation. We believe support is huge in the recovery process. The opportunity to talk to someone who has ‘walked in their shoes’ offers the chance to talk about any and all topics. No topic is off limits as they are there to help.

CONVENIENCE

We recognize there are circumstances that prevent patients from attending appointments. While we have the ability to see every patient in our offices, we can see them at any location they are at. Hospital, Facility, Home, Work, or our Office, they will determine the location that is most convenient for them.

IN-HOUSE FABRICATION

All devices are custom fabricated in our offices. This allows a personal touch to ensure the best quality possible. Our patients have the opportunity to pick out any design to personalize their unique socket. Whether it is a solid color, favorite sports team, or just a design you like, if the design is on fabric, we can laminate it into your socket. We have full control over the customization and quality, as SOLA Prosthetics touches every aspect of fabrication, from casting to delivery.

EDUCATION

Education is the key to success. We provide our patients with an extensive resource book, as well as educational in-services for the entire healthcare team. Our staff members are regularly attending courses to continue professional development. As one of our core values, it is important to stay up to date with current trends and advancements in our industry.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology for prosthetics is rapidly changing and our clinicians stay up to date with the latest advances. This ensures that our patients get the best possible outcome. We work closely with prosthetic manufacturers to provide the most appropriate and beneficial technology available for our patients.
