Exercises

Your residual limb will need a period of time to heal. During this phase of recovery, it is important to stretch daily to retain your range of motion. It is also important to strengthen your core and back  muscles to maintain truck strength, decrease the risk of back pain, and help with balance once you are fit with your prosthesis

Please be sure to check with your doctor or physical therapist before beginning this or any other exercise program. Your current level of fitness, your general health, and the condition of your residual limb are all factors that will play a role in how rigorously you can exercise.
